Express had a sale going on…(then again, when do they not) I went in for two specific items: a pair of red denim ($79.90) and a maxi dress ($88). After a BOGO 1/2 off special and a coupon for $40 off, my total came out to $91.91! Not bad at all. I also scored a lip gloss because my Mom was $.15 short of getting $20 off, so I sneaked that guy in to her order. ^_^

The Guess creme stilettos are from Macy’s.  They were originally $89, on sale for $69.99…used my Macy’s card (shame shame) and got another $7 off. After using my “Thanks for Sharing” gift card of $24.80, I scored these shoes for $41.15!

I spent $133.06 today on $257 worth of stuff. Proud of myself? Yes.

Guilty? Not one bit!

I did this hike the day after doing the Pali Puka at the ending of last month. It took me a while to get the video together, which by the way, isn’t the greatest because I didn’t get a whole lot filmed.

Maunawili Falls trail is a 90% flat, muddy terrain. You cross the stream from the falls a few times, so some people do it barefoot or slippers, I used my trail running shoes, but they didn’t do me any good while crossing the stream on the rocks. They were slippery–I nearly fell, and died, okay not really because the stream is about 7-8 inches deep. There is one point during the hike where you’re elevated and can see a view, but after that, it’s right back down along stream.

At the end of the trail is a small pool with the falls pouring in. When we got to the end, there were a good 15-20 people there. Some where jumping off the rocks from the falls in to the pool while others watched. You’ll see the number of people for that small area in the video if you decide to watch it. Super easy hike, just be sure you remember to bring your suit if you want to swim–at your own risk, there are signs cautioning people of leptosclerosis, and be sure to douse yourself in bug repellent.

The video is okay, the music doesn’t match the video, but I was having a hard time a) finding a song to match, and b) allowing YouTube to let me post it. So this is it, and I recommend you just turn your volume completely off. ;)

I’ve decided to combine my old fitness journal here instead of keeping it separate. It’s getting difficult to keep up to date, so this way I can just record the workout with the date, rather than number them, like how I was in my fitness journal. The only thing different is, now since I’m combining the two, and don’t want to drown out what little regular entries that I post, I’ve kept them private/password protected. All fitness journal entries will be tagged under “Fit Blog” category.

Fellow fitness lovers; Katy, Jenn… and anyone else interested in following my fitness journal and other private entries, contact me and I’ll send you the password (it’ll be the same password always, to make life easier). ^_^
